The St. Louis Cardinals came from behind to beat the Colorado Rockies 6-3 at Busch Stadium last night. Luke Weaver got knocked out of the game after just 2 2/3 innings, but the bullpen was terrific, giving up just one run over the final 6 1/3. Yadier Molina and Marcell Ozuna powered the offense with 3 hits a piece.
The Cards and Rockies play game 4 of the series this afternoon.
The Kansas City Royals won for a second straight night in Chicago, beating the White Sox 10-5. Alex Gordon had 2 hits and 4 RBI”S for KC. The Royals and White Sox play again this afternoon.
