Police Asking For Help Finding Suspects In Vehicle Break-Ins

Police in West Plains are asking help identifying three men they say broke in to numerous cars this week. The thieves made away with credit cards, valuables and handguns. Detectives say these men are likely the same suspects from a rash of break-ins back in February. Detectives say the three men stole credit cards, valuables and even a handgun out of cars inside Kaywood Estates. They also say that one family was hit both on Valentines Day and again on Tuesday. Police report these three men, were seen on surveillance video leaving the West Plains Walmart early Tuesday morning, broke in several vehicles between 3 and 4 a.m, in both Kaywood Estates and Quail Run subdivisions. Home video shows what police believe to be an SUV, drive down a road in Kaywood Estates, then turn around and stop. Two of the men get out to check several cars in the driveway using a flashlight. A handgun was stolen from the truck.  Unlike the Valentines Day thefts, the men stopped at the West Plains Walmart and bought pre-paid credit cards and phone cards using the stolen credit cards before leaving town.  Police also say the same three males were in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas at 7 a.m. doing it again.  Police say the men used a window punch to break the window of a truck in Quail Run. Inside they stole a pocketbook and racked up charges on the owner’s credit card.  Police stress that everyone lock their car doors and take valuables inside.  If you have any information about the three men, call police.
