Two West Plains kids were injured when the go kart they were on was hit by a pickup Friday morning. The Highway Patrol reports that 12 year old Ethan Allsman Jones and 15 year old Dylan Doverspike both suffered serious injuries when Jones turned into the path of the Pickup. Jones was taken by Air-Evac to Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Doverspike was taken to Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains. The accident happened on county road 1380 about 2 miles north of West Plains.
