Emergency crews were dispatched to the Black River near Powhatan Sunday afternoon after receiving reports that a man was thrown from a boat and injured. Around 3:30 the reports came in and the Portia Fire Department, Black Rock Fire Department, AET and Medic One all responded to the area. An unidentified man was flown from the scene to area hospital for treatment of injuries. The incident is being investigated by the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission.
