The Kansas City Chiefs continue preparations for their pre-season opener this Thursday night at Arrowhead with the Houston Texans. After practice yesterday (Monday) head coach Andy Reid said starting QB Patrick Mahommes will start the game and play about 1 quarter. He added that starting RB Kareem Hunt may not play on Thursday. The Chiefs had a bit of a scare as WR Sammy Watkins was pulled from practice with a hip injury, but the team said afterwards, it was “nothing serious”.
The Chiefs and Texans game Thursday night can be heard on K-Kountry 95 radio, kick-off scheduled for 7:30.
