The Izard County Fair is this week in Melbourne Arkansas. Johnson Brothers amusements will provide a carnival at the fairgrounds, Tuesday through Saturday. Wednesday is community appreciation day there will be no gate fees to enter the fair that day. White River Area agency on Aging will host senior day Thursday from 10 until 2. The 4H Poultry Chain Auction is Friday, The Fat Hog sale will follow the Cattle Show Saturday and there will be a demolition derby at 5 followed by a rodeo at 7.
