A man from Elk Creek has been arrested after taking a pickup from Snappy Mart at Junction 14 and wrecking it on highway 76 near Willow Springs. 72 year old Jeffery Christenson allegedly took the 2000 Ford Ranger then later wrecked it. Christenson suffered moderate injuries in the accident. He was also charged with 1st degree tampering and stealing a motor vehicle. He was released after posting $4,500 bond.
