A Mountain Home Teen has been sentenced to 6 years probation for providing a gun to a minor that was later used to shoot another minor. 19 year old Kendall Nodine allegedly admitted to taking a .22 caliber handgun belonging to his grandfather and giving it to a 16 year old as collateral on a loan. The 16 year old and a 13 year old said they took the gun out to target practice and the gun went off while they were exchanging it, wounding the 13 year old in the shoulder. Nodine was sentenced under provisions of act 346 meaning if he stays out of trouble during his probation he can apply to have his record sealed.
