A West Plains man faces charges in connection with an incident Monday. 47 year old Alvin Martin allegedly took a vehicle from a car sales lot in Southfork on August 10th and never returned it. Monday morning, Martin allegedly stole a case of beer and some chips from Junction Hill S Mart. Authorities spotted the vehicle and pursued it for about 6 miles before the car was damaged on a low water bridge. Martin is charged with tampering with a motor vehicle, stealing a motor vehicle and resisting arrest.
