The St. Louis Cardinals continue their charge at a playoff spot with a win in LA last night. The Cards used timely hitting, sparkling defense and good pitching to beat the Dodgers 5-2. Yadier Molina and Marcell Ozuna hit homers and Kolten Wong made a play for the highlight reel as the Cards have won the 1st two games of the series.

With the win the Cardinals now hold the #1 Wildcard playoff spot, and are ust 2 ½ games behind Chicago in the NL Central division race. The Cardinals go for the sweep of the Dodgers tonight in LA.
