The Annual MDA fill the boot fundraising drive for the Southern Howell County Fire Department is scheduled for this Saturday. Firefighters with West Plains, Lanton, Pomona, and Howell Rural will be collecting donations from 8am until 2pm at intersections of Harlin Drive and Garret Street, West Main and Minnesota, and Broadway and Missouri Ave. They are hoping to beat last year’s total of $6,997. The firefighters will also have a car bash on the square Saturday.
