The St. Louis Cardinals just keep on winning. Last night, Jose’ Martinez and Tyler O’neiil hit 2 run homers to power the Redbirds to a 5-2 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates at Busch Stadium. Jack Flaherty pitched 7 innings, giving up 4-hit and just 1-run to earn the victory, Bud Norris pitched a scoreless 9th for the save. The Cardinals now lead Milwaukee by a game and a half in the Wild Card race. The Cards and Bucs play again tonight in St. Louis.
