The St. Louis Cardinals bats were silent at Busch Stadium last night as the Cards were shut out by the Pittsburgh Pirates 2-0. Trevor Williams was terrific for the Bucs, holding the Cards to just 3 hits over 6 innings. Miles Mikolas just gave up 2 runs and was tagged with the loss. The Cardinals and Pirates wrap up the 3 games series tonight at Busch Stadium.
