A woman in Independence county has been accused of taking more than $15,000 for her employer. 52 year old Charity Annette Branscum of Southside was in charge of doing the books at the Exxon Tiger Mart. The Owner of the store noticed there was money missing over a 40 day period. Money was missing from deposits, credit card totals, lottery deposits, and daily totals. Branscum allegedly confessed when questioned by a detective to take money from thestore on an average of two to three times a week for the past 6 to 8 months.
