Bank In Licking Robbed Tuesday

Authorities are investigating an armed Bank Robbery in Licking Tuesday morning. The Robbery happened around 9:40 Tuesday morning at the Town & Country Bank on East Highway 32 in Licking. A lone gunman entered the bank and according to reports, displayed a handgun and demanded cash. He fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash that was  placed in yellow grocery bags in a green and grey colored backpack. The FBI says the man left on foot but may have been in a dark colored SUV.  The suspect is described as 5 foot-7 inches to 5 foot-10 inches, 180 pounds and medium build. He was wearing a black hooded University of Missouri sweatshirt, black knit cap, blue jeans and fingerless black gloves. Officers from several agencies canvassed the area, visited nearby businesses and followed up on tips.
