The Izard County Boys Golf Team claimed their fourth consecutive District Championship and their sixth District Championship in the last nine years on Wednesday at Mountain Ranch Golf Course in Fairfield Bay. Matthew Workman earned Medalist and All Conference honors as he fired an 82 to lead the Cougars. Other team members include Landon McBride, Hayden Ekenes, and Drew Foster. The Cougars qualify for the State Tournament which will also be played at Mountain Ranch on Monday, October 1.
