An inmate at the Sharp County jail has been charged with trying to start a fire in her jail cell. Joanna Hall had been doing community service to pay off her fines and was being held for revocation of probation, failure to pay child support, criminal trespass, obstruction of government operations, public intoxication-drugs, terroristic threatening, and several disciplinary violations. She allegedly stuffed paper into a vent. A jailer saw the smoke and put it out.
