The St. Louis Cardinals lost again last night to the Milwaukee Brewers 12-4, and combined with a Colorado win, have dropped out of the #2 Wildcard spot in the playoff hunt. Cardinal pitching got lit up for 12 runs as the Brewers played long ball. Solo homers by Jesus Aguilar and Ryan Braun in the 1st put the Cards in a hole they never climbed out of. Christian Yelich added a bases loaded triple and Ryan Braun hit a second home run to seal the win for the Brewers. Yadier Molina hit a 3 run homer for the Cards in the loss. The Cards now trail Colorado by a ½ game for the #$2 Wildcard spot, and will play the Brewers again tonight at Busch.
