The National League Wildcard game last night was a marathon, and the Colorado Rockies outlasted the Chicago Cubs to advance. Tony Wolters singled home the game winner for the Rockies in the top of the 13th inning and the Cubs went down 1-2-3 in the bottom of the inning to send a packed house home on the north side. The Rockies will now play the Milwaukee in the Divisional round beginning Thursday, the other Divisional Series will match the Atlanta Braves and the LA Dodgers.
The American League Wildcard game is tonight in New York, as the Yankees play the Oakland A’s.
