Douglas County Sheriff’s Department Reports Three Arrest

The Douglas County sheriff’s Department is reporting a couple of arrest. 55 year old James Rusty Frye of Squires and 33 year old Kimberly Kachiroubas of Ava were both arrested. Frye was on probation for possession from 2016 and admitted to using meth and was sentenced to 10 days shock in the Douglas County Jail. Kackiroubas was arrested for possession of a controlled substance Her bond was set at $10,000 which was the result of a traffic stop in 2017, another warrant was also issued for possession, with bond on $15,000 Both are being held in the Douglas County jail.

 

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Department also reports the arrest of an Ava man. 49 year old Vincent Mayo was arrested on a failure to obey a judge’s order and is currently serving a 10 day sentence. A Search warrant was served at Mayo’s residence south of Ava wher officers found several stolen items and two handguns, as well as meth and drug paraphernalia. Formal charges are pending from the search warrant.
