Three people were injured in an accident Saturday morning south of Summersville. The Highway Patrol says that 74 year old Karon Carpenter of Summersville suffered moderate injuries and 35 year old Ashley Beavers and 9 year old Brylee Beavers both from Mountain View, both suffered minor injuries when a pickup driven by 75 year old Ervin Capenter failed to yield and hit he pickup that Ashley Beavers was driving. The accident happened on highway 17 about 6 miles south of Summersville.
