Authorities in Independence County are investigating threats made to the Batesville Chief of Police and his family. The threat was made on Facebook. Sunday more than 100 people wished Chief Alan Cockrill happy birthday on Facebook with one person wishing him and his family death when he gets out of prison. Authorities are investigating to see if the Facebook account is fake or not.
