Governor Mike Parson was in West Plains Tuesday afternoon to talk about Proposition D which is a gas tax on the November 6th ballot in Missouri, He gave a history of the gas tax
He said something has to be done.
The tax would increase by 2 cents per gallon and would generate about 280 million dollars annually, and would be used to help fund law enforcement statewide.
