Two people were injured in a one vehicle accident Thursday afternoon east of Alton. The Highway Patrol says that 55 year old Junior Caughron and 29 year old Stephanie Ellis both from Alton, suffered minor injuries when Ellis swerved to miss a deer and ran off the roadway. The accident happened on county road 104 4 miles east of Alton.
