High school volleyball district tournament got underway last night around the region.
In the Class 4 District at Nixa, West Plains lost to Kickapoo, to end their season at 7-19.
In the Class 2 District at Cabool, Thayer lost to Licking to end their season, Mountain grove defeated Houston and Cabool beat Plato. Semi-finals and finals will be held this evening at Cabool, Mountain View/ Birch Tree Liberty will play Mountain Grove at 5:00, Licking takes on Cabool at 6:00, with the winners to meet for the title at 7:00.
In the Class 1 at Summersville, Eminence defeated Ellington, Summersville knocked off Koshkonong and Winona was a winner over Bunker. Semi-finals tonight with Lesterville to play Eminence at 5:00, Summersville will play Winonat 6:30. The championship match will be Wednesday.
