Two Neelyville residents were injured in an accident Wednesday afternoon in Ripley County. The Highway patrol reports that 47 year old Gina Burgess suffered moderate injuries and 9 year old Chad McComb suffered minor injuries when burgess drove off the road and hit an embankment. The accident happened on highway 142, about a mile west of Oxly. Both Burgess and McComb were taken to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
