The Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested two people Tuesday afternoon in Douglas County on felony drug charges. 46 year old Paula Barnes of Springfield and 43 year old Richard Emrick of Seymour were both arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Emrick was also charged with several traffic violations. Both were cited and released.
