The Douglas County Sheriff’s Department reports that a woman from Ava has been transported to prison on a grand jury indictment. 31 year old Jessica Cooper was indicted
on charges stemming from a search warrant that was served in June of 2017. Cooper was charged with possession of a controlled substance with bond set at $10,000, 10 percent cash surety.
