A man from Ava was injured in an accident early this morning in Douglas County. The Highway Patrol reports that 22 year old Lloyd Rideoutte suffered serious injuries when he drove off the road and hit a fence. Rideoutte was taken to Cox South in Springfield. The accident happened on Highway DD about 5 miles west of Goodhope.
