Slick roads caused an Alton Teen to wreck the vehicle she was driving Thursday morning. 18 year old Courtney Weyland lost control of the vehicle on a snow covered road, causing her to travel off the road and strike an embankment. Weyland suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Ozarks Medical Center. The accident happened on RT AA about three tenths of a mile east of Alton at around 7 Thursday morning.
