A West Plains man has been arrested in connection with a shooting Tuesday in West Plains. 33 year old Lee Nazarian is charged with first degree assault and armed criminal action. Tuesday evening police were called to the West Plains Senior Center parking Lot for an apparent shooting. When they arrived they found 29 year old Christopher Wake had been shot in the leg. Wake was air-lifted to a hospital. The shooting allegedly took place at a nearby residence on Locust Street. According to documents Wake allegedly told authorities that he believed that Nazarian shot him because he was a witness against an associate of Nazarian’s in a previous shooting. Nazarian’s bond was set at $500,000.
