A man from Laquey was killed in an accident south of West Plains early Friday morning. The Highway patrol reports that 48 year old Al Parson was killed when he drove off the road, down a steep embankment and into some trees. A Passenger in the car, 57 year old Maxie Buescher of Strafford suffered serious injuries and was flown to Mercy Hospital in Springfield. The accident happened on U.S 63 about 7 miles south of West Plains at around 2:10 Friday morning.
