Three West Plains Residents were injured in a two vehicle accident Wednesday afternoon north of West Plains. The Highway Patrol reports that 76 year old Barry Fielder suffered serious injuries, 65 year old Betty Fielder suffered minor injuries and 18 year old Isabella Melvin suffered minor injuries, when Barry Fielder pulled into the path of the vehicle driven by Melvin. Barry Fielder was flown to Cox South in Springfield, Betty Fielder was also transported to Cox South and Melvin was taken to Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains. The accident happened around 4:45 Wednesday afternoon on U.S. 63 about 2 miles north of West Plains.
