On November 6th voters in Randolph County approved an issue for the county to become a wet county, now more than three weeks after the election the Alcohol Beverage Control still hasn’t received the election certification. The Group “Let Randolph County Vote” claims that the election certification has been completed, but the county clerk’s office has yet to send it to the Alcohol Beverage Control.According to reports County Clerk Rhonda Blevins said that there were no issues and that she was working on sending off the certification. Restaurants and stores in Randolph County have to wait on ABC to get those results in order to apply for licenses to sell alcohol.Applicants must wait 30 days after submission to find out if they’ll get a license. Randolph County voted in favor of going wet 53% to 46%.
