A Doniphan woman faces several charges after she wrecked the car she was driving Thursday night. 21 year old Haley Emmons suffered minor injuries when she drove off the road and hit a fence and a tree. Emmons was charged with Driving while intoxicated drugs, felony possession of controlled substance meth, felony possession of a controlled substance, Xanax, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, driving without a valid driver’s license, careless and imprudent driving and no seatbelt. The accident happened on U.S 160 at Rt M around 9:30 last night.
