A Couple from Ava was arrested last week on drug charges. Calvin and Sandra Merriett were arrested , on Grand Jury Indictments for felony Possession of Controlled Substance which stemmed from a traffic stop made in April of 2018. Bond was set at $10,000 10% cash surety with CPS Supervision. Both individuals have since posted bond.
