Run-off Elections were held Tuesday across Arkansas including several local races, in Mountain Home in the run-off for Mayor, Hillrey Adams defeated Nancy Osman 1,095 to 659. In Izard County for Quorun Court Position 3, Randy “Hank” Sherill was the winner defeating John Walker 71-30. In Lawrence County Connie Mullin defeated Stephanie Jones for county treasurer, 802-429. Dennis Coggins defeated Lanny Tinker for mayor of Hoxie 244-204. Steve Adamson beat Darrell Pickney for Hoxie City Council Ward 1, Position 1, 228-217. In Hoxie Ward 3 Position 1 Becky Linebaugh and Cliff Farmer tied with 223 votes each. There Will Be a recount. In Black Rock Greg Hall defeated Teresa Meeks for city council 37-23.
