A woman from Ava was arrested Sunday by the Highway Patrol. 37 year old Somer Stout was arrested on a felony warrant from Douglas County and for speeding. She was taken to Douglas County jail.
A man from Mountain Grove was arrested by the Highway Patrol on Sunday on a felony warrant. 48 year old Jeffery Whitman was arrested on a felony Wright County warrant for child neglect. He was also charged with misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, misdemeanor possession of marijuana and no seat belt. Whitman was taken to Texas County Jail.
