An Izard County man has been sentenced to 60 yearsr in prison on child pornography charges. 59 year old James Hix of Mount Pleasant, pleaded guilty to 6 counts of possessing, distributing, or viewing of matter depicting sexually explicit conduct involving a child. HIx was arrested in April by the Cyber crimes unit of the Arkansas Attorney General’s Office.
