A Mountain View Missouri woman was stabbed in the hand and another woman from Mountain View arrested for the stabbing. 54 year old Valerie Lynn Sturkey was arrested on charges of second degree assault and armed criminal action. The victim told authorities that the two had been arguing about money and rent owed between them and that Sturkey got a knife and attempted to stab her in the throat but she blocked it with her hand. Sturkey’s bond was set at $20,000.
