the Highway Patrol reports that a man from Thayer faces several charges. 55 year old Randy McDermott was charged with misdemeanor resisting arrest, misdemeanor DWI-drugs, careless and imprudent driving resulting in an accident, no driver’s license, no insurance, no valid plates, leaving the scene on an accident, no seat belt and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle. McDermott was released for medical treatment.
