A Plato man was seriously injured in an accident Saturday in Texas County. 38 year old David Powers was injured when he drove off the road and overturned the pickup he was driving. Powers was taken to Phelps County Regional Medical Center in Rolla. The accident happened on Missouri 32 about a mile east of Plato.
