A man from Licking is being held on $1 million bond after his arrest. 48 year old Stanley Smith led several law enforcement agencies on a pursuit before he was finally captured. Smith was charged with two counts of first degree assault-serious injury or special victim, armed criminal action, third degree assault special victim, possession of a controlled substance and resisting arrest by fleeing. Smith allegedly threatened officers and tried to hit them with a tree branch.. He was taken to Texas County jail.
