Sunday a deactivation ceremony was held for the 1138th Military Police Company in West Plains. The Company has been in West Plains for over 50 years. It was recently announced that they would be deactivated and replaced in West Plains by a new Engineering Company. The 1143 Sapper Company. Eventually 125 guardsmen will replace the 50 leaving with the Military Police Company.
