A Calico Rock man who was allegedly involved in a violent domestic assault with a gun was in court recently. 55 year old Mark Fidler is charged with felony domestic battery. He has entered a not guilty plea to the charges. In December a deputy was sent to a residence on Baxter county road 74. A female victim at the scene reportedly had a large lump on her head that was bleeding. The woman told the deputy that Fidler wanted money to buy meth and she would not give it to him and that he began tearing up the house, got the revolver and threatened to kill the woman. He then allegedly hit her in the head with the gun barrel. Fidler left the scene and was arrested later in Izard County. His bond is set at $10,000
