
A Batesville woman faces 22 felony charges for allegedly taking financial advantage of elderly people. Alisha Ann Cook is charged with 4 counts of theft, 10 counts of financial identity fraud; fraudulent use of a credit or debit card possession of a controlled substance, 3 counts of possession of drug paraphernalia; simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms; unlawful use of a communication device; and unauthorized use of another person’s property to facilitate certain crimes. Cook allegedly admitted when interviewed by an investigator that while she was working at Eagle Mountain assisted Living, she accessed a patient software program, then obtained patient information to later use as a financial resource. Cook is awaiting a court appearance.
