An Independence County man has been arrested for child pornography. Authorities arrested 29 year old Kevin Barnes of Pleasant Plains on 500 counts of distributing, possessing or viewing a matter depicting sexually explicit conduct involving a child and one count criminal use of prohibited weapons. He is being held in Independence County Jail.
