AUBURN, Ala. (AP)   Bryce Brown scored 18 points and contributed five 3-pointers to Auburn’s long-range barrage in a 79-56 rout of Arkansas Wednesday night.

The Razorbacks (14-12, 5-8) dropped their fourth straight game and could never dig out of a 22-1 hole in the opening minutes

Arkansas’ Isaiah Joe launched freely in a battle of the SEC’s two most prolific 3-point shooters, himself and Brown. Joe scored 14 points and made 4 of 14 3s.

Daniel Gafford had 10 points and eight rebounds for the Razorbacks.

Arkansas goes for a season sweep of Texas A&M at home Saturday night.

Missouri State posted a season-low point total and matched a season low in field goal  percentage here Wednesday, falling 63-43 to a pesky Northern Iowa club that heated up with the game in the balance late in the second half.

Missouri State, which had won seven of its last eight Missouri Valley Conference games to claim a share of first place in the conference, made only 17-of-55 (.309) shots on the evening and converted just two of its 18 3-point attempts.

With just three games left in the regular season, MSU hosts Indiana State on Saturday at 1 p.m. at JQH Arena

The Missouri State West Plains Grizzlies drop to 19-10 on the season and 5-3 in Conference play with a loss to Mineral Area CC last night 88-73. The grizzlies fell behind early and never recovered.
