A Fulton County man is facing charges of trying to bring prohibited items into the Baxter County jail. 33 year old Kevin Burch was arrested in California on a warrant for his effort in smuggling stuff into the jail using a bible. Burch was allegedly seen on video delivering the bible to the jail. A jail supervisor discovered the contraband before they were delivered to an inmate. The new charges are for his effort to have contraband smuggled in to him after his arrest and return from California.
