17 People Arrested In Texas County After Lengthy Investigation

A lengthy investigation in Texas County results in the arrest of 17 people. The Texas County Sheriff’s Department and South Central Drug Task Force with assistance from the Missouri State Highway Patrol and the Licking, Houston and Cabool police departments arrested 24 year old Steven Caraveo of Houston was arrested on 2 counts of distribution of a controlled substance in a protected area. His bail was set at $500,000. 19 year old Thomas Stanton, 63 year old Brenda Brim, 29 year old Tamiriah Jones, 29 year old Alex Collins, and 34 year old Shawn Greer all of Houston and Heather Strunk of Cabool and 35 year old Daniel Stephens, 57 year old Frank Davy and 21 year old Rachel Friend all of Licking were all charged with delivery of a controlled substance and bond set at $150,000 each. 22 year old Paxton Cox, of Houston was arrested for two counts each of first degree property damage and stealing and first degree tampering with a motor vehicle. Bond was set at $125,000. 48 year old Christopher Giller of Licking was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, delivery or possession of controlled substance at a county jail and failure to register a motor vehicle.  Bond was set at $75,000. 55 year old Jeffery Stocum of Plato was arrested for stealing $750 or more. His bond was set at $75,000. 27 year old Nicholas Jones and 20 year old Zachariah Sawyer both of Houston were arrested for first degree tampering with a motor vehicle. Their bond was set at $50,000 each. 59 year old Roger Davids of Cabool was arrested for driving while revoke/suspended, failure to maintain financial responsibility and Failure to dim headlights. His bond was set at $50,000. 43 year old Daniel Smith of Cabool was ticketed for careless and imprudent driving and no seat belt, his bail was set at $500.
